SummerSlam Anthology DVD, SummerFest, More

- The Summerslam Anthology DVD set was officially released yesterday.
- This Saturday 8/9 will be WWE's free event on the beach in Venice, CA. Titled WWE SummerFest, the event will feature matches, signings and several bands performing. The talent list given to the media lists Ken Kennedy, Carlito, The Miz, John Morrison, Shannon Moore, Funaki, Tommy Dreamer, Elijah Burke, Candice Michelle, Layla, Lena Yada, Lilian Garcia and Jimmy Hart. Prima G and Omar Cruz will be performing as well.
WARNING: The following news item contains a minor spoiler for this week's SmackDown .. Jeff Hardy vs. MVP has been added to SummerSlam
- On July 26th, the Honky Tonk Man suffered a very serious injury to his right index finger in an angle with a guitar that went wrong in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Thankfully the finger was saved. He worked the rest of the dates, but could only sing for the crowd due to the injury.
