The FCW TV taping this week sold out in 10 minutes. Batista, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, and Maria all appeared at the taping.
WWE has plans to call up developmental wrestler Tyrone Evans to the roster in the near future. He worked his first match in front a WWE crowd last Monday in a dark match putting over Jamie Noble. In Florida Championship Wrestling he's working under the name Tyrone Jones because they have another Evans in Charles Evans. He does a militant gimmick and is said to be good on the mic. Evans signed a developmental contract earlier in the year.
Shawn Michaels is advertised for a number of house shows over the next month, so his "career ending" injury angle likely isn't going to last too long. At the 8/23 Raw brand house show at Madison Square Garden, the Michaels vs. Jericho match has been changed to a Steel Cage Match. Also, Cena & Michaels vs. Jericho & JBL is advertised for a few Raw brand main events after SummerSlam.
ECW star Elijah Burke was backstage at The Great American Bash and television this past week, but wasn't used obviously. He's been off television since the last week of May.
